It's official, French President Nicolas Sarkozy who was the first President to divorce while in office will soon become the first one to marry while occupying the Elysee Palace, even though he is not the first President to get laid with a sexy supermodel...

So Nicolas Sarkozy relationship with supermodel-turned-singer Carla Bruni was serious and as you can see on the photos below they have been to the beach together before getting married, and the french President Sarkozy gave millionaire Italian-born Bruni a heart-shaped diamond engagement ring during their Christmas trip to Egypt.

Bruni's mother, Marisa Borini (Marisa Tedeschi Bruni), who conceived her daughter Carla Bruni with a businessman named Maurizio Remmert with whom she supposedly had an affair, said that Sarkozy had asked for her daughter's hand and that she had agreed.

Alberto Bruni Tedeschi, Marisa's husband who knew about his wife’s extra-marital affair but accepted his illegitimate daughter Carla Bruni as part of his brood unfortunately died in 1996 and won't have the chance to see her illegitimate sexy daughter marry again.

But is the French President Sarkozy so much in love to understand that he is doing something stupid by marrying unstable model Carla Bruni or is it just a contract between both of them, Nicolas Sarkozy being a President who needs a wife for protocol and the millionaire heiress who has a princess life being certainly interested in becoming France first lady...

It's true that both Sarkozy and Bruni have messy past relationships, but as a supermodel earning as much as $7,5 million a year, Bruni was blamed by Mick Jagger's wife for breaking up their marriage and has been linked romantically with millionaires or billionaires as Eric Clapton, Kevin Costner and Donald Trump, among others.

Then Carla Bruni dated literary publisher Jean-Paul Enthoven, but started an affair with his son, Raphael, who was married at the time, and who divorced to marry her. Of course they divorced few years later, Carla Bruni not being able to be the perfect wife.

Sarkozy has been twice married and divorced, and almost as bad as his new future wife Carla Bruni he met his second wife, Cecilia, when he was mayor of a Paris suburb city and presided over her wedding to a prominent journalist and TV presenter, Jacques Martin, lately passed away.

He later began an affair with her while both were married, divorced his first wife, and was married to Cecilia 11 years before their divorce in October 2007. He has two adult sons from his first marriage and a 10-year-old son from his marriage to Cecilia.

So it's hard to believe that these celebrities can't see the truth and that they will marry just because of love again, without knowing that they will divorce again soon, but the president's relationship with Bruni has been creating diplomatic hassles, and the best way to solve this problem is to marry her as fast as possible.

For example during the official part of the couple Christmas trip to Egypt, Egyptian lawmakers spoke out in parliament saying that it was improper under Islamic law for an unmarried couple to share a hotel room, especially when dozens of journalists are waiting for them on the Muslim territory.

And new problems are showing for the next French President trips to India and Saudi Arabia if Bruni accompanies him as his girlfriend, rather than first lady.

But as you can see on the photos the sexy former supermodel Carla Bruni can be a reason to break all the rules, especially when you are an old ugly French president.
